I’m Prakash Kulkarni, the person behind Kulkarni Consulting – IT Services. My mission is to help small businesses and teams overcome technology barriers with solutions that make sense and can be trusted.
Why I started Kulkarni Consulting
Over the years I’ve worked in corporations, non-profits, and startups. Each environment taught me something — and also came with its own frustrations.
In large corporations, internal politics were often more important than meaningful progress. Projects were influenced by egos and financial targets, and the real needs of customers were frequently pushed aside.
In non-profits, even though the missions are admirable, I often saw that processes lacked focus on optimising outcomes and being accountable for them. Without the pressure of shareholders, efficiency was easy to ignore and technology tended to be an afterthought.
That’s why I founded Kulkarni Consulting — to do things differently. I want to work directly with small businesses and teams that have a clear mission, operate lean, and genuinely want to make a difference. These teams often lack internal capacity to build and maintain systems and services that truly support their work.
My goal is to be a reliable partner — someone who removes technical obstacles, delivers smart solutions that can grow with your business, and helps you move forward without unnecessary fluff. No politics, no middlemen, no hard selling — just practical support aligned with real goals.

Founded and led a Shared Services Centre in Africa for a global humanitarian organisation. IT capabilities built from scratch now support humanitarian operations in key regions.
